Our Process

Our investment criteria is simple. We look for 3 things:

  1. The company must be technology based
  2. The market must be in one of the sectors we target and the segment large enough so the “view is worth the climb”.
  3. The entrepreneur/team must convince us they are willing to dedicate themselves to the success of the company with a “no matter what it takes to succeed” attitude. There must also be a clearly articulated business plan before we invest, but we are willing to help you complete and modify this if need be (we actually like it when the clay is still a little wet).

Finally, you must convince one of the team members to be your champion, and sponsor you through our internal investment committee process.

Our process is simple and is mostly common sense. You start at the top with the idea submission or direct introduction to someone on our executive team. Typically someone will then meet you and decide if you meet our initial criteria, and if so, decide who in the group has the most expertise to evaluate the opportunity in more detail. If we decide to consider the opportunity further, someone will become your Champion who likes the idea to work with you and champion your idea through the gauntlet.
